Term 1 - Weeks 9 & 10

  Good afternoon parents and welcome to Weeks 9 & 10 We have had some pirate fun this week and Mr Lee has said that 2N can dress up as pirates on Friday this week! It is hard to believe we are entering the last two weeks of school. Library is back on Wednesdays. Sorry for any confusion. Homework On Monday, we will be sending home the Year Two fluency grid with this fortnight’s focus sounds and tricky words. Have a look at our blog post titled 'Week 4 Information' which shows you how you can use this at home to increase your child's reading fluency. We have also included all of the spelling lists for your information on the back of the fluency grid. The pink list 💓 is the target for Year Two from our InitiaLit program.   Good evening parents, I hope everyone had a restful weekend and I hear from the children that the Year 2 get together after school on Wednesday was a great success.   It is hard to believe that we are about to start week 7. Mid-week Sneak Peek

  Dear parents We have had a busy day. Today we started a new Recount, with our class having the staring roll. After a class discussion, we decided to put on a cloak of invisibility and spy on our Year 6 buddies! First, we put on our cloak of invisibility and went into spy mode to sneak from wall to wall so no-one would find us. Once we made it safely without being seen, we put on our spy glasses and looked into the Year 6 classroom. We saw that they were working hard. Next, we went to the adventure playground and used our spy glasses to watch the Year 2 sport lesson on the oval. Can you guess what sport we saw?
