Mission Fate Day - Donations

 

Dear Parents,

On Friday the 4th of August we will be celebrating the Feast of Our Lady Mary, by attending a liturgy in the hall and having our annual Mission Fete Fundraiser.

2N will run a making with craft items inside the classroom.  If you can donate some craft items e.g. pop sticks, pipe cleaners, tape, coloured paper and recycled materials, I would be grateful.

On the day, students will make a donation of a gold coin in order to join in on our ‘fun’ activities.

We would like all items to be at school by next Wednesday the 2nd of August. 

Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts.  All money collected on the day will go to very worthy causes.

  Dear parents, It is hard to believe that there is only seven weeks to go until the children finish Year Two! Year 2 Cultural Excursion – Meelup – tomorrow Please send your child to school in their sport uniform for our cultural excursion to Meelup. Term 4, Weeks 1 & 2

  Dear parents, Term 4 begins on Monday! It is hard to believe there is only 9 weeks left of Year 2 before the long holidays begin and Christmas not far behind! I hope you had a relaxing break and found time to enjoy some beautiful spring weather.   Photos from Book Week! Year 2 Cultural Excursion - Meelup Year Two children will be going on an excursion to Meelup Beach with Josh Whiteland on Monday, 23 October. The children will experience the Meelup Walk and storytelling of Mammung the Whale. Permission slips will be sent home this week. Please sign and send back to school as soon as possible. Mass (week 2) On Wednesday (18.10.23), our class will be walking to Our Lady of the Southern Cross for Mass commencing at 9:30am. You are welcome to join us for this event if you would like. Term 4, Weeks 7 & 8

  Dear parents, Week 7 is here already! The term is flying by. Christmas Concert Costume – Wednesday 29 November The Christmas Concert this year is on Wed Nov 29 in Week 8 is a funny nativity play called 'Straw and Order' and will include classes PP-Y5. Each year group will have a few students acting but the whole year group will have a song to sing so all will be involved. Y6 will lead us in a Christmas Medley at the end.
