Dear parents,  I hope you all had a chance to relax this weekend. This week’s blog contains a lot of information about the next two weeks. 2N Assembly 2N assembly item will be performed on Friday, 18 of August (week 5). If you know your child will be absent on this date, please let me know as soon as possible so I can reallocate parts. The children will wear their sports uniform to school and change into weekend clothes during lunch. I have organised pig beanie hats and wolf hats, so no costumes, as such, are required. Your child can add an extra touch, such as a bow tie, large glasses to add to their character or narrator role. Every child will have a speaking part as either a character in the story or as a narrator. Last week your part was sent home in their reading to practice their part so they will be confident and enjoy themselves on the day. Mission Fate Day - Donations

Dear Parents, On Friday the 4 th  of August we will be celebrating the Feast of Our Lady Mary, by attending a liturgy in the hall and having our annual Mission Fete Fundraiser. 2N will run a making with craft items inside the classroom.   If you can donate some craft items e.g. pop sticks, pipe cleaners, tape, coloured paper and recycled materials, I would be grateful. On the day, students will make a donation of a gold coin in order to join in on our ‘fun’ activities. We would like all items to be at school by next Wednesday the 2 nd of August.  Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts.  All money collected on the day will go to very worthy causes. Kind regards, Mrs Maree Noonan

Good afternoon parents, All the children in Year Two will soon participate in 'Operation Christmas Child' which is an initiative with the goal of packing shoeboxes full of little surprises to give to a child who may have never received a gift before. By participating in this our children will have a first-hand experience aimed at building the school value of compassion.  Your child will be grouped with three other children to contribute and pack the shoe box. The cost to send a shoe box will be  $2.50 per child .  We are asking you to encourage your child to do something extra at home to earn the money that is needed to buy the item to put into the provided shoe box. Please see below an example of the provided shoe box for Operation Christmas child: Y our child will bring home a note today which shows you what kind of items can be sent away in the shoebox. We are asking for all donations to be brought to school by  Friday 18th August (We...
